ALL OF ME, the sixth and final novel in the INSIDE OUT series is
Entering the kitchen, I find Chris leaning on the marble countertop by the coffeepot, shirtless and in his pajama bottoms, the long strands of his blond hair a wild, sexy mess I’m pretty sure I created last night.
He glances up from the paper he’s reading, then picks up his coffee cup. “Morning, Ms. McMillan.”
“Morning, Mr. Merit,” I reply, grinning as I join him.
He offers me his coffee cup and I happily accept it, taking a drink of the perfectly flavored coffee and creamer. Sharing a cup with Chris has this sexy, intimate feel to it that always does funny things to my belly.
“Your last day as a free woman,” he comments.
“Why? Are you planning to tie me up sometime soon?”
He covers my hands on his cup. “Is that an objection, or wishful thinking?” He tilts the cup and drinks, his eyes never leaving mine.
“I plead the Fifth. It’s more fun that way.”
“That it is,” he agrees, but a sigh follows. “I wish I could do the same, but you’d better look at the newspaper.” He sets the cup on the counter, then hands me the Arts section of the local paper.
Dread fills me as I read the headline: “Acclaimed Artist and Philanthropist Chris Merit to wed Sara McMillan on Valentine’s Day in Star-studded Event in Sonoma.” I set it down. “We went to so much trouble to get the press off our backs before the wedding, and now they’ve found us! I knew when all these famous people showed up on the guest list, it was going to turn into a zoo.”
“Walker Security anticipated the press, and they’re staffed and ready for it. It’ll be fine. We’ll be shielded.”
Nerves the size of birds, not butterflies, attack my stomach.
“We should have eloped.”
“We still can. Let’s do it. Now. Today.”
“We can’t elope,” I say, sounding appalled, as if he’d suggested it, not me. “People who respect you are coming a long way to see us. And Katie has planned this for months.”
“Baby, we can do whatever we want. This is our day.”
“No. We can’t. Not this far into this. Which reminds me— you can’t stay here tonight. It’s bad luck to see the bride the night before the wedding.”
“I told you how I feel about that. We make our own luck.”
He kisses me. “I’m staying here tonight, and I’m fucking you like I won’t see you ever again, just to be sure you walk down that aisle.”
“If you’re waiting for me at the end of that aisle, I’ll be there. And if you’re staying here tonight, we can use separate bedrooms.”
“Does today count as part of that eve-of-the-wedding rule?”
He scoops me up and I yelp. “What are you doing?”
“I’m a renegade, baby. Let’s go break the rules.”

Literary Lust Review
Ok so I was itching to get my hands on this after reading Beat and being left with one all mighty cliff hanger. So the second it hit my kindle I was straight on it, looking for the answers I NEEDED haha! As much as I love a good cliffy, patience is not my strong point ;)
Pulse was not as gritty as Beat, but thats not as bad as you may think. The anx was amped up in Pulse and you got to see a totally different side to the characters. Ren is even more kick a** than before and Ash just gets better and better the more we watch him grow as a person.. (droooooool!) Loved the twists added by the entrance of Ash’s sister too!
I enjoyed getting to know a little more about the twins, although I still feel like I need to know much much more of them and their story and I think its great how they look out for Ren especially Dean - i mean who wouldn’t want all these lean, mean fighting machines watching their back!?
I was hooked from the beginning with my pure need for answers and the fact that they weren’t all revealed in the first chapter kept me reading and turning page after page to find them.
The only downside I could mention was that I would have liked the ending to be a little more gutsy and explosive, maybe including a little more of the grit was saw in Beat, but I don’t want to go into too much detail here so as not to spoil the plot for everyone else!
All in all another extremely well written book I would definitely recommend.

Amity Cross isn't her real name. That's no secret.
She is the author of wicked stories about rock stars looking for redemption, gritty romances
featuring MMA fighters and dark tales of forbidden romance. She loves to write about
screwed up relationships and kick ass female leads that don't take s**t lying down.
Amity lives in a leafy country town in southern Australia and can be found chained to her
desk, held at ransom by her characters.
Don't send help. She likes it.
When I was ten, my father indoctrinated me into the family.
A brotherhood who would fight, protect, and give their lives for one another. A club whose ties ran thicker than blood, murkier than the dirt and grime that tainted my soul. Stronger than the bonds that connected me to my own family.
A band of brothers, where loyalty was kept and paid in a currency of blood.
When I was twenty-seven, I betrayed that brotherhood.
I’ve spent every day since running, avoiding paying back that debt.
My name is Daniel Johnson. I have betrayed everyone I ever loved.
And I’ll betray her too.
This is my story—if you’re screwed up enough to want to read it.
Warning: KICK contains graphic violence, profanity, drug use, and explicit sexual situations of a taboo nature. Intended for an 18+ audience only. Not intended for pussies.

“You gotta let go now, Princess. I gotta hand you over.”
Her panicked gaze meets mine. “He’ll shoot you.”
“No, he won’t.”
“Yes, he will.”
I smile down at her. “What are we just gonna stand here forever, you in my arms, your dad holding a gun to my head? If he shoots me, he shoots me. Ain’t nothing I can do about that, Princess. At least I’ll know I did one thing right.”
She takes a deep, shaky breath. “I’d be dead if it weren’t for you.”
I nod, because it’s true. If Slayer hadn’t come at a deal, Prez would’ve eventually killed her, and he’d have tortured her some more first. “Promise me somethin’?”
“Get on your feet and then get the hell outta here. Prez will come looking for you again. He’s not a guy who likes to lose. Take as much money as you can, and get the fuck away from this life, otherwise you’re gonna wind up filling a body bag way too young.”
Lauren is wrenched away from me then. She screams as the Italian carts her off toward the clubhouse, flailing and slapping at him despite her injuries.
“Daniel!” she screams, reaching out toward me as he struggles to get her inside. Without thinking I take a step forward, but I’m attacked from behind. My knees go out from under me and I’m shoved face-first into the ground. Some heavy motherfucker sits down on my back. I buck, trying to unseat him, but I’m whacked in the back of the head until I stop.
“Well, isn’t that fuckin’ touching? The Angel scum, in love with my daughter? Didn’t I warn you away from her once before?” Slayer asks, circling me like a predator circles prey. The biker using me for a chair shoves his gun against the back of my skull.
“Yeah, I did,” Slayer continues, and he motions for the guy on top of me to force me to stand. I’m dragged up by the hair and presented to Slayer. “At the rally, where she fuckin’ went missin’!” His red, blotchy face almost touches mine. He’s so close I can see the blood vessels snaking out from the corners of his eyes. He’s fucking high. His daughter’s been locked up, raped, beaten, treated like a fuckin’ animal over some shit that she shouldn’t even have to know about, and the arsehole’s gettin’ high as a fuckin’ kite instead of findin’ her? He makes me sick. He’s everything I hate about the life. And he’s more than likely exactly where I’ll end up, because this is what we are—this is what livin’ in the club gets you: bitterness, enemies, and a shit-tonne of bad blood.
Literary Lust Review of Kick by Zoe
I didn't think I'd be a fan of MC books and having previously only read one other I thought I'd give it a go and step out of my comfort zone. After reading about the Savage Saints it seems MC's may be my new favorite. Boy did I love Kick!
He has the perfect balance of being a dickhead a wounded soul and a nice guy caught up in a life he had no choice but to be part of. I loved Kick from the outset despite his brutality at points I never saw him as the bad guy the girls he had sex with were pretty much always willing and other than turning a blind eye he was never really outright bad. I think this allowed me to warm to the story more, the fact that Kick was as much a victim as the girls have him a softer side and for every wrongdoing there was a reason.
Don't be fooled though this is not a story of hearts and flowers the scenes are graphic and the happenings are brutal, just wait until you meet the dentist-ewwww! There's an element of Stockholm syndrome and the usual MC behavior. It's definitely not a book for the lighthearted.
All in all I enjoyed this book and was captivated from the start, the only thing holding me back from 5 stars is probably the fact that I didn't think Kick was ever that bad. I thoroughly enjoyed the book though and whether you enjoy MC or not you should definitely read it. It's my first Carmen Jenner book and definitely won't be my last! I can't wait for book two.
4.5 dark, brutal, brilliant storytelling stars
